Printable Puzzle Packs

Licence

Free for teachers: classroom & commercial use licence

In plain terms: you are free to print and use every puzzle on this site for teaching and care, including in a paid setting like a school, nursery or childminding business. You may not resell the puzzles themselves or redistribute the files. The details are below — no legalese.

You may

  • Print unlimited copies for your own classroom, tutoring group, childminding setting or home.
  • Hand the printed puzzles to your students, children or clients as part of your teaching or care.
  • Use them in a classroom, library, church, scout group, therapy session or waiting room.
  • Photocopy a puzzle as many times as you need for the people you teach or care for.
  • Adapt a printed puzzle for a child's needs — enlarge it, simplify it, or add your own labels.
  • Generate custom puzzles with the free tools and print them for your group.

You may not

  • Resell the puzzles or the PDFs, whether printed or digital, on their own or in a paid product.
  • Re-host the PDFs or the puzzle images on another website, app or download store.
  • Upload them to a public file-sharing or print-on-demand marketplace.
  • Claim the puzzles as your own original artwork or remove the site footer.
  • Use them in a product you sell (for example, a book or app you charge for) without a separate licence.

What “commercial use” means here

We use “commercial use” the way teachers ask about it: using the puzzles as part of a service you are paid for — your teaching salary, your childminding fees, your tutoring business. That is completely fine and needs no extra permission. What is not fine is making the puzzles themselves the product you sell: bundling our PDFs into a pack you charge for, or putting them on a marketplace.

Why the footer stays

Each PDF carries a small footer with the puzzle type, difficulty, seed and the site name. Please leave it in place when you print or share. It is how a parent or colleague can find more free puzzles, and it is the only thing we ask in return for the work.

Need a wider licence?

If you would like to include these puzzles in a product you sell — a published activity book, an app, a subscription box — get in touch and we will arrange a separate licence. For everything a teacher, childminder, parent or therapist normally does, the free licence above already covers you.

Frequently asked questions

Can I use these in my childminding business?

Yes. Using the puzzles as part of a paid teaching or care setting is explicitly allowed — print as many copies as you need for the children you look after.

Can I put the puzzles on my own website?

Not the files themselves. You are welcome to link to the puzzles here, but please do not re-host the PDFs or images on another site or app.

Can I sell an activity book that includes these puzzles?

Not under the free licence — that needs a separate agreement. Contact us to arrange a licence for a product you sell.

Do I have to credit the site?

Just keep the small footer on the PDFs when you print or share. No other credit is required for normal classroom and home use.

This page is a plain-language summary, not a legal contract, but it reflects how you may use the printables. Questions? Reach out via the footer of any puzzle PDF. © 2026 Printable Puzzle Packs.
