Why do adults like difficult mazes?
A hard maze is a flow task: challenging enough to hold your full attention, structured enough that you always know the next move is findable. That combination is why maze books sell alongside sudoku and crosswords. There is no timer and no score — just you, a pen and one path out.
How are the adult mazes made?
We generate them with Prim's algorithm at 24×24 or larger and apply no braiding, which maximises dead ends and guarantees a single solution. Because generation is algorithmic and seeded, we can produce an effectively infinite supply of unique mazes — the generator makes a fresh one on every click.
Can I print these large and clear?
Yes. The PDFs are pure vector art, so a 24×24 maze prints razor-sharp at any size. On A4 the cells are about 8 mm; if you want bigger cells for relaxed solving or lower vision, print at 100% on Letter or scale up on a larger sheet — the lines never pixelate.
